Write an Elevator Pitch

If you have ever been in sales or have owned a company for more than 3 months you have probably heard the term "elevator pitch." It is basically the couple of sentences you would say if someone asked you what you do. Sounds easy right? Usually, it isn't. Boiling down what you do so a complete stranger will "get it" in just a couple of sentences can be a real challenge.

You really just need to include a couple key elements.

"We help WHO get WHAT by DIFFERENT."

We help small business owners get unstuck by providing one on one mentoring.

Who = small business owners

What = get unstuck

Different = providing one on one mentoring

So give it a try. Write out an elevator pitch. Say it out loud. How does it feel? Try it the next time you are asked.
